Annamarie Gogliettino Stellato, 85, of North Haven, is peaceful at Yale-New Haven Hospital / St. Raphael Campus with her son by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent J. Stellato, Sr. Anne was born in New Haven on July 27, 1936, and was the daughter of the late Louis and Rose Monaco (Gogliettino) Apuzzo. She had worked for her family’s business, Petro Tech in West Haven, for many years before she retired. Anne enjoyed frequent trips to the casino, lunch with her high school friends, board games, but most of all spending time with her family, whom she loved unconditionally. Mother of Vincent J. Stellato, Jr. (Deborah), Christopher J. Stellato (Marlene), Anthony R. Stellato (Celeste), and Michael J. Stellato (Donna). Grandmother of Vincent Stellato III (Chelsea), Nicole, Marcus, Jenna, Isabella and Gabriella Stellato, Angelo and Giavanna Graziano. Great-grandmother of Carmelo Stellato and Aurelia Graziano. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Died of her sisters Carmel Liquori, Rosemarie Esposito, Eleanor Sullivan, Josephine Trotta, Rita Palumbo and brothers Stephen and Anthony Gogliettino.
Visiting hours are Monday, September 20, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Christian funeral will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning, September 21, at St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Therese Church, 555 Middletown Avenue, North Haven. The burial takes place in the All Saints Cemetery. Instead of flowers, commemorative donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929.
