Akatsuki, Too Kyo Games and Funimation reveal new details on Tribe Nine, their new combat baseball franchise from the makers of Danganronpa.

New details were posted over Tribe Nine, an ambitious new multimedia franchise from the makers of the Danganronpa Series.

The new franchise takes place in a colorful but post-apocalyptic world in the city of Neo Too Kyo, which is loosely based on the real 23 districts of Tokyo. In this new lawless society, various factions emerge as they battle for control of the city through a new, more extreme version of baseball played with high-tech bats and gloves that can also turn into weapons. The new series is the latest creation from Kazutaka Kodaka, who also created the cult classic Danganronpa Series of video games and anime adaptations. Kodaka is back Danganronpa Character designer Rui Komatsuzaki and composer Masafumi Takada.

The anime side of the franchise is co-produced by the anime publisher Funimation and the animation studio Liden Films, who are primarily responsible for the production of the anime adaptation of. are known Tokyo Avenger. Danganronpa S: Ultimate summer camp, which combines elements of role-playing games with board games and features characters from all three previous games in the series. The game is due to be released on December 3rd for the Nintendo Switch.
