Dodgers Injury Update: Max Muncy without elbow brace, remains hopeful of return

The Dodger First Baseman has stayed with the club through the postseason, often with a large brace on his left elbow. However, this fashion statement has been noticeably lacking in Dodger Stadium lately.

OC Register Beat writer Bill Plunkett reports on conversations with Muncy and manager Dave Roberts ahead of NLCS Game 5.

But Muncy wouldn’t say if removing the brace would increase his activity.
“No comment yet,” he said when asked.
Roberts was jokingly asked if Muncy had started swinging a bat in a secret, unknown location.
“No, it isn’t,” said Roberts. “I wish it was. But it is not. “
