“Fully immersive” DnD game developer Adventure Roll is getting an epic early access trailer

A new early access release trailer for Adventure Roll has been released, demonstrating the Neverwinter Nights-like ability for players to create their own Dungeons & Dragons campaigns and run them as a virtual tabletop RPG – and it’s ready to be tried out now.

These days of social distancing, getting a few friends together to play board games is harder than ever. There are wonderful tabletop simulators for more traditional games, but what about something more intense and time-consuming like DnD?

In addition to providing a virtual tabletop simulator for DnD 5e campaigns, the Adventure Roll team also wants to allow users to basically create their own RPG. It’s on a smaller scale than something like Neverwinter Nights or Divinity: Original Sin 2 Modding, but it seems a lot easier and more user-friendly to create campaigns in Adventure Roll than these titles. It is now available to try over on the site, With the latest version 0.5.2 dropped only a few days ago.

If you want to see what Adventure Roll is all about, there is no better way than the new official Early Access trailer. It was designed by Gage Allen, creator of the wonderful fan films “This is Battlefield” and “This is Forza”, and shows how much of a real RPG feeling the team strives for. Check it out below.
