The Inn welcomes guests to enjoy authentic Wisconsin-style hospitality along with luxurious accommodations and exceptional amenities.
A new luxury boutique hotel in central Wisconsin, The Inn at SentryWorld, opened its doors today. The upscale hotel, built by Sentry Insurance, is located across the street from Stevens Point headquarters on the SentryWorld campus. It will serve target golfers, visitors to the central Wisconsin community and the business community of the mutual insurance company.
The hotel is adjacent to SentryWorld’s championship 18 golf courseth fairway and offers great views of the course and its peaceful parkland. It features spacious suites and intimate gathering spaces ideal for personal getaways, weddings and corporate events. Guests can expect an authentic Wisconsin-style hospitality experience during their stay.
The Inn features 64 spacious guest rooms and suites, as well as specialty executive-level accommodations, each equipped with modern amenities and special touches. All rooms have their own private courtyard or patio with seating — most overlooking the adjacent forest and the SentryWorld course, home of the 2023 US Senior Open.
Guests also have access to intimate gathering spaces throughout The Inn, including a cozy living room with numerous board games for families and friends to enjoy together, and a guest cafe library featuring books written by and about Wisconsin authors became.
The inn’s decorative details include the work of several local artists and designers. handcrafted quilts made by artisans from central Wisconsin. Photographs by Sentry employee Katie Berdan Wolden and murals by local artist Meredith Trzebiatowski depicting Wisconsin’s natural landscapes and people are also featured throughout the hotel.
Guests can also experience local specialties at The Inn’s dining options, which include a cafe, bakery and bar, as well as the nearby casual restaurant PJ’s and fine dining muse, which is set to reopen in the near future. SentryWorld’s culinary team focuses on fresh, seasonal and local options to give visitors a taste of the real Wisconsin.
Other amenities include a fully equipped fitness center, a kids’ club, and The Outfitter, where guests can rent outdoor exercise equipment like bikes and cross-country skis to enjoy the scenery green circle Trail that meanders along the valley of the Wisconsin River.
A covered colonnade connects The Inn to SentryWorld field housewhich offers additional event space and activities such as tennis, pickleball, a golf simulator, and an indoor driving range.
Golf remains the pinnacle of the SentryWorld experience and golfers have the option to stay at The Inn with special offers Stay and play facilities. When the course opens on June 1, 2022, SentryWorld will make its new debut Complete golf experience. The experience includes handcrafted food and drinks (on request to order) at two on-course refreshment stations, all included in the green fees. GPS-enabled golf carts are also included with every round, as are all gratuities. Tee times have been spaced from 10 minute intervals to 20 minute intervals to provide a more relaxed, enjoyable round and ensure the course is kept in pristine condition throughout the day.
