Inter Miami CF II and Academy U-17 U-17 player Benjamin Cremaschi has been called up to the US U-19 men’s youth national team. Cremaschi is one of 33 players and one of 10 midfielders called up for training camp at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California.

The camp runs from April 22 to May 1 and will be led by new U-19 MYNT coach Marko Mitrović. It is the first program for this age group since the global COVID-19 pandemic brought the sports world to a standstill in March 2020. The event will take place at the same time as the U-20 MYNT training camp in Carson as U-19 players can be drawn to train with the U-20 team.

The event will be held in accordance with US Soccer’s comprehensive regulations Back to play logs.

The 17-year-old Cremaschi shone for Inter Miami’s U-17 side at the 2022 Generation adidas Cup recently, scoring in the group stage and helping lead the team to the semi-finals. He has also played for Inter Miami CF II in MLS NEXT Pro, making his professional debut in the team’s first game in the league and scoring his first professional goal in a game against Philadelphia Union II.

Cremaschi joins the list of current and former Inter Miami CF Academy players awaiting call-up to a national team. The list includes Noah Allen, recently called up to US U-20 MYNT; Edison Azcona, who was called up to the Dominican national team for the youth and senior teams; Felipe Valencia, who was called up to a US U-15 MYNT camp; Logan Batiste, called up to the US U-17 MYNT for the UEFA development tournament; Tyler Hall, who has been called up more than once to the US U-17 MYNT; and Santiago Morales, Justin Ellis and Tyler Austin, who were called up to the US U-15 MYNT, among others.
